Belgium's Former Prime Minister: 15th Five-Year Plan highlights innovation | SFC Markets and Finance

From December 1st to 3rd, the "2025 Imperial Springs International Forum" kicked off in Guangzhou.

Yves Leterme, Former Prime Minister of Belgium, told SFC journalist that he has read parts of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and he is going to dive into the more detailed implementation guidelines.

He considered the 15th Five-Year Plan continues the process of China’s high-quality economic development and its evolution into a pioneering economy. 

He noticed that the 15th Five-Year Plan explicitly refers to advancing toward a cutting-edge, technologically innovative economy—this emphasis on leveraging scientific and technological innovation to drive economic development is a key highlight of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and it holds great significance for the global economic landscape.
